Blogilo (KDE App Blogging Client)

Blogilo is a KDE App blogging client and proud of it. Although it will run happily in Gnome (see the image for the Ubuntu-eye view), it just looks better by default in KDE.

Highlight of blogilo:

• A full featured WYSIWYG editor + An HTML editor
• Previewing your post with your blog style! like when you are visiting it at your blog.
• Support for Blogger1.0, MetaWeblog, MovableType (WordPress supports All of these!) and Google GData (used on Blogspot.com blogs) APIs!
• Support for Creating/Modifying/Deleting posts.
• Support for creating drafts and scheduled posts!
• Support for uploading media files to your blog (Just on supported APIs e.g. MetaWeblog and MovableType)
• Support for Fetching your recent blog entries.
• Support for adding Images to post from your system. It will upload them on Submitting post to blog (Just on supported APIs e.g. MetaWeblog and MovableType)
• Support for saving local entries before publishing.
• Saving your writing copy to prevent data loss, at configurable intervals.
• Internal auto spell checker. (KDE spell checker used so most of languages are supported)

Blogilo available on ubuntu sofware repository, you can install on ubuntu by typing commands on terminal:

sudo apt-get install blogilo

QTM 1.3.6 (Open Source Blogging Client)

QTM is a blogging client which is presently capable of composing, formatting and submitting blog entries to a weblog. QTM will work with blogs based on most of the major blogging systems available today: WordPress (including wordpress.com), Movable Type, Drupal and so on.
Here it is changelog of QTM 1.3.6

• Compatibility: removed the Mac unified title & toolbar, as it causes problems in Cocoa (a Qt bug that also appears in Designer)
• UI Improvement: moved the �Copy URL� button from the status bar into the side widget, to reduce size of the status bar (esp. on the Mac)
• Bug fix: Removed code that links against Carbon (that finds the Mac bundle directory) and replaced it with Qt code
• Bug fix: No longer splits the main from the extended entry when using WordPress (as it was causing first two paragraphs to be joined, even if they were split when the entry was written).
• UI Improvement: reduced the size of the margins around some of the controls on the side panel

Drivel (Blogging Client GNOME Desktop)

Drivel called (Drivel Journal Editor) is the kind of blogging client that Gnome blog aspires to be. Using the Gnome libraries, it�s a native Linux app (although it will run on other systems that support the Gnome desktop) that puts simplicity first.
On first running the software, you�ll be challenged for your credentials and, naturally, the URL of your blog. This is where things can get a bit sticky if WordPress is your platform of choice, since it doesn�t appear on the list.

• Support for LiveJournal, Blogger, MovableType, Advogato, and Atom journals (systems based off these are also supported, including WordPress and Drupal)
